The Department closely monitors developments in public policies and administration, and provides advice on:

• Formulation of initiatives, policies, procedures
• Drafting of legislative proposals
• Awarding of major tenders and franchises

The Department holds seminars and workshops for staff of public sector organisations to raise awareness of the potential for corruption in particular systems and to promote best practices in areas such as departmental direct purchases, public property management, contract administration and handling of indebted staff.
