The ICAC Ordinance

Understanding the Ordinance:

The ICAC Ordinance mainly vests the ICAC with law enforcement powers such as:

• Power of arrest, detention and granting bail
• Power of search and seizure
• Power of handling any other offence disclosed during the corruption investigation process (for details, please refer to Section 10(5) of the ICAC Ordinance in the Text of the Law)
