Former Senior Member of the Executive Council Baroness Dunn today (Thursday) visited the ICAC for an update of Hong Kong’s latest anti-corruption efforts. She was greeted by Commissioner Dr Timothy Tong Hin-ming, Head of Operations Mr Daniel Li Ming-chak and other senior directorate officers at the ICAC Building. Baroness Dunn toured the ICAC Exhibition Hall and the Centre of Anti-Corruption Studies and was briefed on the Commission’s landmark cases. She said the rule of law and the ICAC were among the essential factors contributing to Hong Kong’s success. She saw the Centre as a timely initiative for research and facilitating exchange of anti-corruption experiences regionally and internationally. Baroness Dunn chaired the ICAC Complaints Committee between 1989 and 1995, advising the Commission on the conduct and integrity of its officers. Also meeting Baroness Dunn today were Director of Investigation (Private Sector) Mr Francis Lee Chun-sang, Director of Investigation (Government Sector) Mr Ryan Wong Sai-chiu, Director of Community Relations Ms Julie Mu Fee-man, Director of Corruption Prevention Mrs Jean Au Yeung Lui Miu-kwan and Assistant Director of Administration Mrs Wong Cheuk Wai-kuen.
