Welcome to the Website of the Hong Kong Ethics Development Centre (The Centre).

Rated the world's freest economy and one of the cleanest places, Hong Kong has attracted investors from around the world, who contribute a lot to our economic development. With globalization and increased economic integration with the Mainland in recent years, the numbers of Hong Kong enterprises operating across the border and Mainland-funded companies running their business in Hong Kong are both on a rise. Good corporate governance and ethical management is not only a global trend, but also the cornerstone for sustaining business competitiveness. As the Chairman of the Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Association, I firmly believe that only by practicing integrity in business and management, investors and business executives in different industries and sectors would be able to uphold a high ethical standard in the business sector and capitalize the business opportunities in the long run.

I am pleased to serve as the Chairman of the Hong Kong Ethics Development Advisory Committee. It is a privilege to work with other member chambers to guide the Centre's work in promoting business ethics. I am also delighted to see that the Centre has established strong partnerships with various chambers, trade and professional associations and has, at all times, enjoyed their support to cultivate an ethical corporate culture in Hong Kong.
