Clean District Council Election

The District Council (DC) Election (including by-elections) are regulated by the Elections (Corrupt and Illegal Conduct) Ordinance (Cap. 554). The legislation, enforced by the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC), aims to uphold honesty and prevent corrupt and illegal conduct in public elections.

To help candidates, election helpers and electors better understand the statutory requirements on election conduct and avoid inadvertent infringement of the law, the ICAC has launched a series of education and publicity activities to promote clean DC Election, including:
