Post-Secondary Student Summer Internship Programme 2026

Monthly Allowance: HK$11,500

Post (1): Summer Intern (General)

Entry Requirements:

Candidates should —

  1. be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region;
  2. be full-time undergraduate students of post-secondary institutions in any disciplines with satisfactory academic achievement, i.e. Grade Point Average (GPA) score over 3, or equivalent (final year students will not be considered);
  3. be proficient in common computer applications for word processing, data processing and presentation;
  4. possess strong analytical and research skills;
  5. possess good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; and
  6. possess good command of written Chinese and English and be able to speak fluent Cantonese and English.

Candidates who possess good knowledge of Hong Kong's current news, skills in video production or managing social media platforms and are proficient in Putonghua will have an advantage.

Duties:

Summer Interns (General) will be deployed to different departments or sections of the ICAC and assist in —

  • providing administrative and logistics support to in-house, local and international training programmes;
  • the production of training materials and knowledge management products;
  • conducting projects or researches on topics relating to corruption prevention;
  • planning and organising publicity events and corporate communication projects;
  • social media marketing projects, including concept development, copywriting, filming and digital video editing; and
  • carrying out any other ad hoc tasks/projects.
Post (2): Summer Intern (Information Technology)

Entry Requirements:

Candidates should —

  1. be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region;
  2. be full-time undergraduate students of post-secondary institutions in Information Technology (IT) related disciplines with satisfactory academic achievement, i.e. Grade Point Average (GPA) score over 3, or equivalent (final year students will not be considered);
  3. possess good knowledge in computer operating systems (e.g. Microsoft Windows, Linux, iOS, Android), software development life cycle, IT project management and IT security;
  4. be interested in software development and learning new technologies;
  5. possess good analytical, problem-solving, communication and presentation skills; and
  6. possess good command of written Chinese and English and be able to speak fluent Cantonese and English (proficiency in Putonghua will be an advantage).

Duties:

Summer Interns (Information Technology) will assist in —

  • managing computer workstations or mobile devices;
  • IT project administration work;
  • software design, development and testing;
  • operation and maintenance of IT systems; and
  • carrying out any other ad hoc tasks.

Employment Period:

Early July to mid/late August 2026

  4. Applicants who are selected for interview will normally receive an invitation by email in about three to four weeks from the closing date for application. The interview is expected to be conducted in April 2026. Applicants who are not invited for interview may assume that their applications are unsuccessful.
