The Department conducts assignment studies of all major public functions such as law enforcement, licensing and regulatory system, procurement, contract administration, staff management, and public works.
Almost all government departments and most public bodies have had their key procedures studied.

The Department holds seminars and workshops for staff of public sector organisations to raise awareness of the potential for corruption in particular systems and to promote best practices in areas such as departmental direct purchases, public property management, contract administration and handling of indebted staff.
