In December 2018, ICAC Commissioner Mr Simon Peh Yun-lu, being an Executive Committee member of the International Association of Anti-Corruption Agencies (IAACA) and convenor of its Training Committee, attended meetings of the two committees in Putrajaya, Malaysia to foster international exchanges in the fight against corruption.

At the meetings, Mr Peh invited members to participate in the 7th ICAC Symposium, which would be jointly organised by the ICAC and World Justice Project in Hong Kong in May 2019. He also briefed members on an ICAC training programme co-organised with the IAACA following the Symposium. The programme would include a technical visit to ICAC's facilities, workshops on investigation, systemic prevention, as well as community education and engagement.
