Hong Kong has consistently remained in the band of the top 20 economies with very low level of corruption in the world in the Corruption Perceptions Index since its launch in 1995. Among 180 countries/territories in the Corruption Perceptions Index 2024, Hong Kong is ranked the 17th least corrupt place, one of the top performers in the Asia-Pacific region.
