• The Yearbook measures the competitiveness of an economy by using over 300 criteria grouped under four main factors, namely Economic Performance, Government Efficiency, Business Efficiency and Infrastructure.

• Hong Kong is ranked the 2nd most competitive among 70 economies in the World Competitiveness Yearbook 2026.
