Hong Kong is ranked the fifth most competitive among 63 economies in the World Competitiveness Yearbook 2020.

The Yearbook measures the competitiveness of a place by using over 200 competitiveness criteria grouped under four main factors, namely Economic Performance, Government Efficiency, Business Efficiency and Infrastructure.
Hong Kong's ranking of "bribery and corruption" as one of the criteria under the competitiveness factor "Government Efficiency" is the 12th.
