Understanding the Ordinance:
The ICACO mainly vests the ICAC with law enforcement powers such as:
- Power of arrest, detention and granting bail
- Power of search and seizure
- Power of handling any other offence disclosed during the corruption investigation process (for details, please refer to section 10(5) of the ICACO in the Text of the Law)
