Collaboration with Other Regulators

To formalise and strengthen cooperation in combatting corruption and other-related crimes, the ICAC and the market regulators listed below had entered into Memoranda of Understanding, which sets out the framework for cooperation and collaboration and provides guidance on matters including referral of cases, joint investigations, exchange and use of information, provision of investigative assistance, as well as capacity building.

ICAC, Competition Commission sign MoU to enhance collaboration, following first joint training for 30 officers

The Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) today (December 18) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Competition Commission to enhance collaboration in combating corruption and anti-competitive conduct, reinforcing Hong Kong's international reputation as a clean society and a level-playing field. The two parties also hosted the first joint operational training to gear up for greater synergy in future enforcement collaborations.

Thirty insurance managerial staff complete ICAC's anti-corruption training and witness signing of MoU between ICAC and Insurance Authority

Around 30 managerial staff from more than 28 insurance companies completed the ICAC's two-day Professional Anti-Corruption Training for Management in Insurance Sector and witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Commission and the Insurance Authority (IA), which formally establish and further strengthen collaboration of the two parties.
