If you cannot reach him and you are in urgent need of advice on testifying in court, court procedures and other related matters or require other urgent assistance about the case, you can contact the ICAC 24-hour Report Centre at 25 266 366.

Not necessarily. In general, the court requires a witness to give evidence in court if the defendant denies having committed the offence and the witness"s evidence can help determine whether the defendant is guilty or not. In other words, if the defendant pleads guilty or the court accepts your written statement as evidence, there is no need for you to go to court. Whatever the circumstances, we will keep in touch with you to make suitable arrangement.

This depends on the individual case and the progress of the investigation. We will contact you if we need further information from you. Nonetheless, if you have any further information concerning the case, you can directly contact the responsible ICAC investigating officer.

If you are required by the court to give evidence, we will usually inform you by notice or summons issued by court. We will also let you know the time and location of the trial and provide you with a leaflet explaining the general court procedures.
