ICAC chief had exchanges with Taiwanese anti-graft officials and academics

ICAC Commissioner Dr Timothy Tong Hin-ming today (Wednesday) returned to Hong Kong after leading a delegation to Taiwan upon its justice authorities’ invitation for exchange meetings with local anti-corruption officials, researchers and academics.
During the visit, Dr Tong met with Dr Wang Ching-feng and Mr Wang Chien-shien, respective heads of Taiwan’s justice and supervision authorities. He also gave speeches and briefed participants at seminars about the essentials of ICAC’s three-pronged strategy of fighting corruption through enforcement, prevention and education.
The Commissioner said that the delegation took the opportunity to share views and ideas with Taiwan’s justice and supervision authorities on issues of mutual concern, particularly on matters such as integrity management, promotion of business ethics and moral education.
Other members of the delegation included Director of Community Relations Ms Julie Mu Fee-man, Assistant Director of Corruption Prevention Mr Raymond Ng Kwok-ming and an officer of the Centre of Anti-Corruption Studies.
