ICAC’s first Recruitment Experience Day receives overwhelming response, with extra sessions to follow next Sunday
2023-8-19
The ICAC today (August 19) organised a Recruitment Experience Day for the first time to tie in with its latest recruitment exercise for Investigators and Assistant Investigators. In view of the overwhelming response, extra sessions will be held next Sunday (August 27). A total of over 1,000 participants are expected to be received and briefed on the Commission’s anti-corruption work.
Major highlights of today’s Recruitment Experience Day included a recruitment talk, tours of ICAC’s facilities, a stimulated arrest and search operation, and a simulated session of interviewing a suspect. Participants could apply for the posts of Investigator and Assistant Investigator on the spot and attend a physical fitness test. Those who passed the physical fitness test would have their results recorded and recognised as meeting the relevant requirements.
The current recruitment exercise for Investigators and Assistant Investigator will close on September 1, 2023. For the first time, the ICAC is accepting applications from penultimate year undergraduate students for the post of Investigator. Those who will graduate in 2024 and 2025 are eligible to apply for the posts. For more information, please visit the webpage of “Career in ICAC” at www.icac.org.hk/en/job/vacancy/.
