ICAC 50th Anniversary Open Day invites applications for admission tickets

To mark the 50th anniversary of the ICAC, the Commission will open up its facilities on two weekends in August for members of the public to learn first-hand about Hong Kong’s anti-corruption history in the past five decades and the Commission’s latest anti-graft efforts.

The ICAC Open Day 2024 will be held at the ICAC Building at 303 Java Road, North Point on August 17, 18, 24 and 25, admission time from 10:00 am to 5:00pm.

Members of the public will be taken on guided tours to various ICAC facilities, including the ICAC Exhibition Hall, Hong Kong International Academy Against Corruption, Video Interview Rooms, Identification Parade Suite, Detention Centre, firearms display, as well as the ICAC TV Drama Series Exhibition specially set up to celebrate the golden jubilee of the ICAC. Each guided tour will last about one hour and 45 minutes.

All guided tours will be conducted in Cantonese, except for the six tours listed below which will be conducted in Putonghua or English:
- August 17 12:00nn
- August 18 12:00nn and 3:00pm
- August 24 11:30am and 3:30pm
- August 25 11:00am

Members of the public can apply for admission tickets on the ICAC website (www.icac.org.hk) from today till July 21. Each applicant can apply for a maximum of four tickets at a specified admission time. Visitors without valid tickets will not be admitted. Should the number of applications exceed the capacity, admission tickets will be allotted through computer balloting.

Applicants will be notified of the result by email on or before July 31. Successful applicants will receive electronic tickets while unsuccessful applicants will also be notified.
