ICAC Commissioner visits three ASEAN member states to foster regional anti-graft ties

An ICAC delegation led by Commissioner Woo Ying-ming today (April 25) touched down in Brunei to commence a duty visit to three member states (Brunei, Singapore and Indonesia) of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
Woo will meet with major officials of the Anti-Corruption Bureau of Brunei tomorrow (April 26) for exchanges on the latest anti-corruption development and discussions on future cooperation.
Woo will travel to Singapore this Sunday (April 27) to visit the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau of Singapore and the Singapore Police Force respectively to share experience on training and application of technology. The ICAC delegation will then head for Indonesia to meet with major officials of the Corruption Eradication Commission of Indonesia to strengthen regional liaison as well as future collaborations in anti-graft law enforcement, prevention and education.
During the trip, the delegation will call on Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam, Singapore, Indonesia and ASEAN respectively. The delegation will return to Hong Kong next Thursday (May 1).
