ICAC Commissioner visits Tianjin for exchange on anti-graft work

ICAC Commissioner Woo Ying-ming today (September 4) commenced a duty visit to Tianjin where he would call on various anti-corruption agencies to discuss graft fighting work.
Woo arrived in Tianjin from Beijing, where he attended the commemorative rally and military parade to mark the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War yesterday (September 3) as a member of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government delegation.
Upon his arrival in Tianjin, Woo met with Member of the Standing Committee of Tianjin Municipal Committee, Secretary of Tianjin Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Chairman of Tianjin Municipal Commission of Supervision Wang Tingkai, as well as other officials. They exchanged views on the latest development in anti-corruption work in the two places, with a view to deepening anti-graft cooperation.
The ICAC delegation then called on anti-corruption facilities in the city to learn about local probity education strategies and share Hong Kong’s experience. The delegation also studied the probity and compliance situation of the city.
Accompanying the Commissioner on his visit to Tianjin are Assistant Director of the Community Relations Department Debbie Ly Uyen-g, Principal Investigator of the Operations Department Gary Wong Hon-kit and Chief Academy Officer of the Hong Kong International Academy Against Corruption Davyn Wan Wing-hung. The delegation will return to Hong Kong on Saturday (September 6).
