ICAC Commissioner leads delegation to Hungary to host European regional anti-corruption conference

The ICAC Commissioner, Mr Woo Ying-ming, in his capacity of the President of the International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities (IAACA), led a delegation to Budapest, Hungary to commence their visit today (May 12) to host the IAACA’s first regional anti-corruption conference in Europe on May 14.

Mr Woo will also hold the first IAACA Executive Committee Meeting of 2026, and meet with the President of the Integrity Authority of Hungary, Mr Ferenc Pál Biró, and other officials tomorrow (May 13) to strengthen international exchange and co-operation on anti-corruption.

The European regional conference, organised by the IAACA, the ICAC and anti-corruption agencies in Europe, will be participated by different counterparts in European countries to address contemporary graft fighting issues. ICAC officers will host a back-to-back training seminar after the conference to exchange anti-graft views and insights with European countries’ officials.

During the visit, the delegation will call on the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Hungary, Mr Gong Tao. Mr Woo will return to Hong Kong on Friday (May 15).
