ICAC Commissioner to meet UNODC new leadership and attend anti-graft meeting in Austria

ICAC Commissioner Mr Woo Ying-ming, leading his delegation, is departing for Vienna, Austria, today (August 24) to attend an anti-graft meeting of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).

Mr Woo will meet with the new UNODC’s Executive Director, Ms Monica Juma, to discuss international anti-corruption cooperation. He will also attend the Seventh Plenary Meeting of the UNODC’s Global Operational Network of Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Authorities, and host an anti-graft workshop to share experience with other law enforcement agencies from various places.

During the visit to Vienna, the delegation will also meet with Charge d’affaires of the Permanent Mission of the People’s Republic of China to the United Nations and Other International Organisations in Vienna, Mr Yin Haigang. The delegation will leave Austria for Hong Kong on Friday (August 28).
