ICAC Club 25th Anniversary Members' Exclusive Activities

ICAC Club Orientation cum Training Programme
Nurture an outstanding volunteer team

The ICAC Club organised an Orientation cum Training Programme for about 60 members on 20 and 27 November 2022. Club members were given job-tasting opportunities through detective games and role-play exercises on receiving complaints from the general public. Moreover, it was an honour to have our newly joined Club member Mr. KWAN Chuk-fai, MH, JP, also the Chairman of the Community Investment and Inclusion Fund Committee, to share his valuable volunteer experience. Through these experiential activities and exchange of experience, participating Club members had gained a deeper understanding of the meaning of volunteering, work of the ICAC and anti-corruption laws, which would better prepare them for disseminating integrity messages in the future.

On 13 August 2022, the ICAC Club Coordinator invited Mr. CHAN Pak-hey, who has received numerous awards and recognitions, to teach the Club members to use origami papers for producing a coffee cup, symbolising the ICAC and a flower, expressing gratitude.

In view of the overwhelming response, we organised three origami training workshops for over 80 participants in August. Three Youth Chapter members even served as teaching assistants in the second and third sessions. Subsequent to participants' dedicated efforts, they displayed their completed products for photo shots with happy and satisfied smiles. Some Club members will visit different district organisations later to train other people the relevant techniques and share with them the integrity messages and fun of making handicraft.
