ICAC Common Induction Course Passing Out Cum Training Camp Opening Ceremony

A Passing Out ceremony for graduates of the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC)'s Common Induction Course will be held on Friday (August 11) at 4 pm at ICAC Training Camp, 17 Yeung Tsing Road, Tuen Mun, New Territories.
The occasion also marks the opening of the new ICAC Training Camp, which comprises training rooms, computer rooms, residential facilities, special rooms for investigative skills training and gym facilities.
ICAC's Acting Commissioner, Mr Tony Kwok Man-wai, will present certificates to the graduates and unveil a commemorative plaque to mark the training camp's opening.
Among the 51 graduates, 48 are newly recruited ICAC officers while three are on secondment from Macau's Commission Against Corruption.
Prior to the ceremony, three graduating representatives will be available for interviews at about 2:30 pm , to be followed by a guided tour at the camp site.
Reporters wishing to use official transport provided by the ICAC are requested to gather at the Ground Floor of Fairmont House, 8 Cotton Tree Drive at 1:20 pm on Friday . A 24-seater van reserved for the media will depart at 1:30 pm sharp.
Those taking their own transport should arrive at the ICAC Training Camp by 2:15 pm and register at the Press Reception. They may be requested to produce their press identity cards by ICAC staff at the camp. Parking facilities are available.
Photographers are also reminded to bring along tele-lens.
The official van will leave the site at about 5:30 pm. after the completion of all the ceremonial proceedings.
