ICAC to unmask on Open Day

Members of the public will have a chance to tour around the ICAC when the anti-corruption agency holds its Open Day on the first two consecutive Saturdays this month.
The event, aimed at enhancing the public’s understanding of the work of the Commission, will feature guided visits to various Operations Department facilities, including the ICAC Exhibition Hall, Video Interview Rooms, Report Centre, Detention Centre and Identification Parade Room.
Visitors will also be treated with video screening of real ICAC investigation cases, an IT application demo on intelligence analysis and computer forensics as well as firearms display. Each tour will last about one hour.
Visitors can also take photographs with paper ICAC officers and ICAC cartoon character Gee-dor-dor.
Members of the public are cordially invited to drop in the ICAC’s Operations Department headquarters at Murray Road Carpark Building, 2 Murray Road, Central, on October 7 and 14 between 10 am and 5 pm. There will be a meal break between 1 pm and 2 pm.
