Senior Superintendent of Police charged for alleged bribery, misconduct and possession of poison

A Senior Superintendent of Police was this (Thursday) morning charged by the ICAC for alleged bribery, misconduct in public office, and possession of poison.

Sin Kam-wah, 45, will be brought to Eastern Magistracy this afternoon.

Sin faces one count of government servant accepting an advantage, contrary to Section 3 of the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance (PBO); three of misconduct in public office; and two of possession of poison included in Part I of the Poisons List.

Also charged in the same case is businesswoman Lam Chuen-ip.

Lam, 42, will be brought to Eastern Court this afternoon to face three counts of offering an advantage to a government servant, contrary to Section 8(1) of PBO; and three of exercising control over other persons with a view to their prostitution.
