Fifteen ICAC Club members were presented with the "Long Service Awards" for clocking up almost 3,000 service hours in promoting anti- corruption messages in the past five years.

In presenting the awards at the Club's annual gathering on Saturday (February 25), ICAC Commissioner Raymond Wong Hung-chiu noted that the ICAC had been relying on the public's support to fight graft and to maintain Hong Kong as a fair and just society.

He highly praised the club members for their valuable contribution to the success in fostering a culture of probity in the community.

The ICAC Club was formed in 1997 to promote civic participation in the anti-corruption work in Hong Kong. It now has 900 members coming from all walks of life.

Mr Wong also said the ICAC would produce a video film to share with the international community Hong Kong's successful experience in rallying the public's support in its anti-corruption drive.

Meanwhile, over 200 club members were also commended for their dedicated service in assisting in various anti-corruption activities last year.
