2006-6-29
The ICAC will continue to receive corruption complaints from the public round-the-clock through its 24-hour reporting hotline and the Report Centre, with the implementation of five-day week from July 1, 2006.
Members of the public may continue to dial 25 266 366 or visit the ICAC Report Centre located on the ground floor of Murray Road Carpark Building, 2 Murray Road, Central, to lodge complaints anytime.
Under the five-day week arrangements, ICAC's Regional Offices located in various districts will have their opening hours extended on weekdays but close on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
These Regional Offices will open from 9 am until 7 pm Mondays through Fridays.
Meanwhile, the Regional Offices will continue to organise community education activities outside regular office hours, having regard to the needs of various working partners in the community.
A spokesman for the ICAC stressed that under the five-day week, the Commission would continue to maintain its anti-corruption services to the public.
The public may access information on the Commission's five-day week arrangements on its corporate website ( www.icac.org.hk ). Information pamphlets are also available at ICAC's Regional Offices and district offices of the Home Affairs Department.
