Members of the public and jobseekers can meet ICAC officers face-to-face to learn more about anti-corruption work at the Education and Careers Expo 2008 starting today (Thursday).
“This year the ICAC continues to take part in the Education and Careers Expo to publicise the Commission’s anti-corruption efforts and to attract potential recruits,” ICAC’s Assistant Director of Administration, Mr Tse Man-shing said.
“Riding on the momentum of the Expo, a new round of common recruitment exercise has also been launched today to fill about 40 vacancies in Commission Against Corruption Officer and Assistant Commission Against Corruption Officer ranks in three departments, ” Mr Tse added.
Under the common recruitment policy, all new recruits will receive solid training in all aspects of ICAC’s work and be given exposure to the work of the Operations, Corruption Prevention and Community Relations Departments. The recruitment will close on March 17, 2008.
Staged under the theme “You and the ICAC –'96 A New Milestone” at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, the Commission’s exhibition booths aim to enhance the transparency of and career prospects in the ICAC by showcasing its integrated three-pronged strategy in fighting corruption.
