ICAC holds its Open Day in October

The ICAC is to hold its Open Day next month for the public to visit the Commission and see for themselves the latest developments of anti-corruption work.
Members of the public can now apply for admission tickets to take part in the Open Day to be held at the ICAC Building in North Point on October 23 and 24 (Saturday and Sunday).
Visitors will be given a guided tour to various ICAC facilities, including the ICAC Exhibition Hall, mock Video Interview Rooms, Identification Parade Suite, firearms display and recruitment exhibition. Each tour, lasting about 90 minutes, will be conduc ted in Cantonese.
“This is the second time that we organise an Open Day function at the ICAC Building as part of our on-going efforts to enhance transparency of our work,” said ICAC’s Regional Officer Mrs Bernadette Cook Liu Sau-fong.
Application forms can be downloaded from the ICAC website ( www.icac.org.hk ) or obtained from the Ground Floor of the ICAC Building at 303 Java Road, North Point, or any ICAC regional offices.
Completed application forms shall be returned to the ICAC with a self-addressed stamped envelope on or before September 27 (Monday).
About 3,000 tickets will be issued for public tours on October 23 (Admission time: between 1 pm and 8 pm) and October 24 (Admission time: between 9 am and 8 pm). Each successful applicant will be entitled to a maximum of four tickets. If the number of a pplications exceeds the total capacity, tickets will be allotted through computer balloting.
All Open Day admission tickets will be mailed out by mid-October. Unsuccessful applicants will also be notified in writing. Visitors without valid tickets will not be accepted.
