In response to media enquiries, an ICAC spokesman today (Thursday) confirms that the head of a government bureau, an Assistant Director of a government department and two other persons have been arrested for allegedly violating the Prevention of Bribery O rdinance in relation to government housing allowances.
The ICAC has commenced an investigation upon receipt of corruption complaints.
While enquiries are continuing, no further comments will be made at this stage.
