ICAC Commissioner attends international anti-corruption meeting in New Delhi

ICAC Commissioner Mr Simon Peh Yun-lu has departed for New Delhi, India, to attend the Executive Committee meeting of the International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities (IAACA) scheduled for today and tomorrow (April 8 and April 9).

The IAACA is a non-governmental international organisation set up to promote international cooperation on anti-corruption and foster the implementation of the United Nations Convention Against Corruption. It comprises over 300 members from anti-graft age ncies and related organisations worldwide, including Hong Kong’s ICAC.

As member of the IAACA Executive Committee (ExCo), Mr Peh will discuss with other ExCo members the IAACA’s work plan for the coming year, and exchange anti-graft experience with representatives of overseas anti-corruption bodies and officials of the United Nations.

Mr Peh will return to Hong Kong on Wednesday (April 10) after the conclusion of the meeting.
