ICAC Statement

The ICAC today (Thursday) welcomed the establishment of the Independent Review Committee on ICAC’s Regulatory Systems and Procedures for Handling Official Entertainment, Gifts and Duty Visits as announced by the Chief Executive, and undertook to render full cooperation.
The ICAC reiterated its determination to uphold fairness and integrity and to fight corruption in Hong Kong. All ICAC officers are committed to safeguarding the good reputation of the Commission and will strictly comply with professional conduct in disch arging their duties.
The ICAC also pledged to render full assistance to the Committee and provide all information needed for the review to facilitate the latter’s work.
