The Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) has noted a statement issued by the Department of Justice (DoJ) today (Thursday) regarding public complaints made to the ICAC involving the Secretary for Development, Mr Paul Chan Mo-po.

The ICAC is following up on the complaints in accordance with the law, and will seek legal advice from the DoJ as and when necessary, to ensure that due and proper processes are observed in handling the matter.

The result of follow-up action on the complaints will be reported to the independent Operations Review Committee for its scrutiny.
