ICAC launches territory-wide survey to gauge public views on anti-corruption work

2013-10-4

The ICAC will conduct a household opinion survey in the coming two months to gauge the views of the public on anti-corruption work in Hong Kong.

The face-to-face household survey will be conducted between October 19 (Saturday) and December 13 (Friday) with a total of about 1,500 respondents selected through random sampling.

Over the years, the ICAC has engaged independent pollsters to conduct opinion surveys on an annual basis.

Household visits will be conducted between 10 am and 10 pm. Selected households receiving a notification letter from the ICAC are invited to make an appointment with the research company for interviews at a time most convenient to them.

All interviewers will bear an authorisation letter issued by the ICAC and a staff identity card of the research company for identification purpose.

Details of the opinion survey are also available on the ICAC’s website ( www.icac.org.hk ). Members of the public may call the enquiry hotline at 9521 1657 between 10 am and 10 pm from Monday to Sunday during the survey period.

All personal information provided by the respondents will be kept strictly confidential and used solely for the survey. The completed questionnaires will be destroyed after processing.
