ICAC announces directorate appointment

The Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) today (Wednesday) announced the appointment of Mr Ricky Yau Shu-chun as Director of Investigation of the Operations Department, with effect from March 15, 2014.
Mr Yau, 49, joined the ICAC in 1994 as an Investigator. He was promoted through the ranks to Principal Investigator in 2004 and became Assistant Director in 2007.
Mr Yau has substantial experience in dealing with operational support and investigation of cases involving both the public and private sectors as well as broad administrative experience.
Meanwhile, two Principal Investigators, Mr Eric Tong Wing-tak, 53, and Ms Winky Hsu Man-wai, 53, have been promoted to Senior Principal Investigators, with effect from March 19, 2014.
