ICAC chief visits Macao counterparts to foster closer anti-corruption ties in Greater Bay Area development

The ICAC Commissioner Mr Simon Peh Yun-lu today (April 30) leads a delegation to visit the Macao Commission Against Corruption and the Macao Public Prosecutions Office to foster closer ties and mutual cooperation in anti-corruption work under the Greater Bay Area development.

Upon arrival this morning, Mr Peh and the ICAC delegation will call on the Macao Public Prosecutions Office to meet Prosecutor General Mr Ip Son-sang.

In the afternoon, Mr Peh will visit the Macao Commission Against Corruption where he will meet Commissioner Mr Cheong Weng-chon. The two anti-graft chiefs will exchange views on furthering cooperation following the promulgation of the outline development plan for Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

ICAC officials accompanying Mr Peh on his visit are Secretary to the Commission Against Corruption, Ms Sally Kwan Yee-lan; Chief Investigator Raymond Kong Yim-kwan; Chief International Liaison and Training Officer, Florence Au Pui-wai and Senior International Liaison and Training Officer, Crystal Lee Ngan-yan.

The delegation will conclude its visit and return to Hong Kong this evening.
