Guangdong-HK-Macao in synergy for anti-corruption work in Greater Bay Area

At a meeting in Guangzhou today (May 15), the Guangdong Provincial Commission of Supervision, the Hong Kong ICAC and the Commission Against Corruption of Macao discussed the initial anti-graft cooperation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
The three parties agreed that they would effectively implement the Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and jointly combat cross-boundary corruption with a view to safeguarding a corruption-free Greater Bay Area.
To foster a probity culture, the three places would strengthen exchanges in education and publicity initiatives. The three parties also agreed to strengthen the anti-corruption collaboration mechanism in establishing a clean, healthy, open and transparent government-business relationship. Moreover, the three places also agreed to increase exchange visits among anti-corruption agencies and government organisations in the Greater Bay Area, as well as step up staff trainings.
The three parties also agreed that their representatives would meet regularly to review the progress of collaboration and discuss future cooperation.
