A former employee of a knitwear manufacturer, charged by the ICAC, was today (January 22) convicted at the District Court of fraud in relation to the supply of unnecessary accessories worth totalling over RMB1.3 million.

Three serving and former senior executives of a finance company and a director of an auction company, charged by the ICAC, were today (January 21) convicted at the District Court of conspiracy to defraud interested purchasers at an auction of a small house in the New Territories at a reserve price of $4 million.

An assistant principal and a former employee of a training body have been charged by the ICAC today (January 21) with conspiracy to defraud the Employees Retraining Board (ERB) of funding totalling about $168,000 by falsifying the attendance records of course participants.

A former bar bender of an engineering company was charged by the ICAC yesterday (January 14) with defrauding and attempted to defraud his fellow workers by falsely representing that they were employed as unskilled bar benders and hence were entitled to lower wages.
