The ICAC today (Tuesday) arrested 20 serving and one former Hawker Control Grade officers of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD) for their alleged involvement in a scheme whereby "staged" arrests of hawkers were made at Yan Oi Court in Kw un Tong.

A company director, charged by the ICAC, admitted at the Court of First Instance today (Monday) that she had conspired with a manager of the Guangnan (Holdings) Limited (Guangnan) to defraud a number of banks of US$54 million in Letters of Credit (L/Cs) f unds.
