A Mainland resident, who offered a bribe to an immigration officer at the Hong Kong International Airport while on transit from Fuzhou to New York on false travel documents, were charged by the ICAC and brought to Tsuen Wan Magistracy this (Tuesday) after noon.

Two men, earlier arrested in an ICAC undercover operation, were today (Monday) sent to jail for their roles in a money laundering scam.

A company director, charged by the ICAC, today (Tuesday) admitted at District Court that he had offered $10 million in bribes to an employee of a finance company and several hundred thousand dollars to a Land Inspector of the Lands Department for assistan ce in obtaining loans with forged documents.
