A former purchasing manager of a hotel and a proprietor of a fresh meat company have been charged by the ICAC for alleged bribery in relation to food supplies to the hotel.

The ICAC has charged two directors of a company for allegedly offering advantages to various purchasing staff of a hotel and three clubs in relation to chicken and duck supplies.

A member of the Kwai Tsing District Council (KTDC) and his assistant have been charged by the ICAC for allegedly making false claims of reimbursement of expenses totalling over $109,000 from KTDC in relation to various activities organised by non-profit m aking organisations and a mutual aid committee.

A Senior Programme Officer of the Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) was charged by the ICAC for alleged misconduct in public office in relation to arranging freelance script-writing and research services for the broadcaster.

The ICAC has charged a Senior Assessor of the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) and her husband for allegedly furnishing false information to deceive Private Tenancy Allowance (PTA) totalling over $1.3 million from the Hong Kong Government.
