Fourteen persons have been arrested by the ICAC yesterday (Thursday) for alleged corruption and fraud in relation to the awarding of various service contracts at construction site for a viaduct project in Sham Shui Po.

A woman was today (Wednesday) sentenced to four months' imprisonment at the Eastern Magistracy for fabricating a corruption report against a number of police officers, accusing them of accepting an advantage for framing her for deception.

The Court of First Instance today (Tuesday) meted out jail terms up to six and a half years to five persons for their roles in a US$28.78 million (about HK$223 million) Letters of Credit (L/Cs) fraud involving Keen Lloyd Group (KLG).
