A former salesman of an electronic products company appeared in the Kowloon City Magistracy today (November 21) after being charged by the ICAC with offering a bribe of around $800 to $1,000 to an employee of the company to help him get refund of each defective or damaged mobile phone from it.

A former chauffeur of an interior design company appeared in the Kwun Tong Magistracy today (November 18) after being charged by the ICAC with soliciting and accepting bribes totalling over $10,000 in relation to the sale of a sports car at an asking price of $1.3 million.

Two former chefs of a Chinese restaurant and three food suppliers, charged by the ICAC, today (November 18) admitted at the District Court that they had solicited, accepted and offered illegal rebates up to about $1.5 million in relation to placing of food orders, and conspiracy to defraud the restaurant of payments totalling over $3 million.

Three former employees of a Japanese fast food restaurant chain appeared at the Tuen Mun Magistracy today (November 15) after being charged by the ICAC with accepting about $70,000 in bribes from their supervisor, and conspiracy to defraud the restaurant chain by inputting inaccurate sales records into its cashier computer system.
