A Waterworks Inspector of the Water Supplies Department (WSD), charged by the ICAC, was today (March 7) sentenced to six months’ imprisonment at the Kowloon City Magistracy for misconduct in public office (MIPO) by dishonestly assisting two companies in securing 14 purchase orders worth over $420,000 from the department.

A proprietor of an engineering company appeared in the Fanling Magistracy today (March 2) after being charged by the ICAC with offering illegal rebates to obtain maintenance works at a residential estate.

The ICAC will send out an information leaflet to help Election Committee members as electors in the upcoming Chief Executive (CE) Election and candidates’ supporters to better understand the electoral law when they cast their votes and participate in electioneering activities respectively.
