Integrity Promotion Campaign for Public Bodies
To enhance the corruption prevention education of public servants and continue to entrench the integrity culture in public bodies, the ICAC launched a two-year “Integrity Promotion Campaign for Public Bodies” in 2020/21.
Objectives
Strengthen public servants’ understanding of anti-corruption laws and regulations and heighten their alertness to corruption risks for meeting public expectations
Encourage public bodies to have effective integrity management system in place to plug corruption loopholes
Enlist the support of public bodies to partner with the ICAC for entrenching the integrity culture
Initiatives

A series of anti-corruption education and training resources developed for public bodies are available at this website for the easy reference of employees and members of public bodies, including salient points of anti-corruption laws and integrity management, integrity promotion package, sample code of conduct and corruption prevention guides, etc.

The ICAC stands ready to organise integrity training on various themes for public bodies. Apart from briefings for new recruits and frontline staff on the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance and corruption risks, integrity training with tailor-made contents are also available for the managers, board members, etc. To facilitate the training, the ICAC has produced a series of new training videos with real-life scenarios to highlight the corruption-prone areas at work and ethical challenges faced by staff at all levels and members of the governing body of public bodies.

An e-Learning course with interesting features of animations, videos and quizzes is produced to facilitate self-learning by public bodies’ employees who are unable to attend integrity training in person. Public bodies are welcome to put the link of the e-Learning course in their intranets.

The ICAC is determined to assist public bodies in implementing integrity management. The full range of ICAC services include arranging integrity training, providing support in organising integrity promotion activities, formulating or reviewing codes of conduct for employees and members, and rendering professional corruption prevention advice. Public bodies are welcome to contact the ICAC for use of the services.
