A man was today (Wednesday) charged by the ICAC and appeared in court for allegedly obtaining cleaning contracts of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD) by deceit.

A Chief Technical Officer of the Drainage Services Department (DSD), charged by the ICAC, admitted at Eastern Magistracy today (Monday) that he had accepted unauthorised loans totalling $70,000 from subordinates and deceived loans of $125,000 from colleag ues under various false pretexts.

A Detective Police Constable has been charged by the ICAC for allegedly conspiring to pervert the course of public justice by staging drug arrests, so that a pub operator could present himself as a Police informant to get a reduced sentence for his involv ement in a criminal case.
