Seminar on The Development and Management of Anti-Corruption Systems in Hong Kong and Mainland

That "Corruption knows no boundaries" is particularly true for mainland China and Hong Kong owing to the geographical proximity and social and economic ties. Despite immense differences in our political and legal arena, the two regions are one in the determination to fight corruption.

To provide a platform for academics and anti-corruption practitioners in both Hong Kong and mainland China to share and exchange ideas and experiences in developing a comprehensive and efficient anti-corruption system for both the public and private sectors, the Centre of Anti-Corruption Studies of the ICAC, in collaboration with three anti-corruption research institutes under the Chinese Academy of Social Science, Peking University and Beijing Normal University, will organise the Seminar on "The Development and Management of Anti-Corruption Systems in Hong Kong and Mainland China" on 28 February (Thursday) to 2 March 2013 (Saturday) at the ICAC Building.

30 speakers, comprising renowned scholars from mainland China and Hong Kong, will deliver addresses at one of the five plenary sessions covering the following topics:
